Smart Class

Quality education is an essential requirement in today’s competitive world, and technology plays a vital role in shaping modern learning. With advancement across every aspect of life, education too has evolved from traditional teaching methods to smart technology driven classrooms. Smart classes represent this transformation by enhancing concept clarity, improving reading skills, supporting better academic achievement, and making learning more engaging for students.

Unlike the traditional gurukul system, today’s smart classrooms integrate digital tools such as 3D animated modules, instructional videos, presentations, and interactive content aligned with the school curriculum. These resources help students understand complex concepts more effectively and encourage curiosity through visual and interactive learning experiences.

A smart classroom is equipped with computers, interactive whiteboards, audio-visual systems, and projectors that enable teachers to deliver lessons using diverse multimedia formats. At MPS, every classroom is technology-enabled, offering curriculum-mapped digital content that supports interactive, self-paced student learning and rich media–based teacher-led instruction. This approach makes learning enjoyable while significantly enhancing overall academic performance.

Science Lab

Modern Public School has a well-equipped composite science laboratory designed to impart hands-on practical knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The objective of maintaining composite laboratories is to provide adequate time, space, and equipment for every student to perform experiments in accordance with CBSE guidelines.

Each laboratory is well stocked with essential chemicals, specimens, glassware, and scientific instruments, ensuring that students receive individual opportunities to conduct experiments and observe results firsthand. This practical exposure strengthens conceptual understanding and encourages scientific inquiry among learners.

The laboratories are supervised by well-qualified and experienced teachers who guide students through a carefully planned schedule of practical sessions. These sessions are designed to develop observation skills, analytical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for scientific principles. Special emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe learning environment, with strict safety protocols followed while handling chemicals and instruments. Computer Lab

MPS has a well-equipped and modern computer laboratory designed to support hands-on learning and digital literacy from an early age. All computers are Windows-based systems installed with essential office applications and a range of programming languages, enabling students to develop practical computing skills aligned with academic requirements.

To ensure uninterrupted learning, each system is supported by UPS backup, with additional power provided through inverters and generator systems. The computer lab is connected to a high-speed broadband internet facility, allowing students to explore online resources and enhance their learning under constant teacher supervision.

The school also features a sophisticated multimedia setup, including visual classrooms with projectors that support interactive and engaging instruction. Students are introduced to logical and algorithmic thinking through various programming languages, helping them understand real-time problem-solving approaches. This exposure familiarizes learners with the fundamentals of the computer environment at a young age and equips them with essential knowledge and skills required in today’s rapidly evolving world of information technology.

Library

Learning today goes beyond classroom lectures; it is a journey of exploration that encourages curiosity and independent thinking. The school library plays a vital role in the education system and forms an essential part of the academic environment at Modern Public School.

The school library is well stocked with over 5,000 books covering a wide range of subjects. It includes Storybooks, Reference Books, Biographies, Comics, Magazines, and Journals that cater to the diverse interests of students. The library also subscribes to leading national newspapers, magazines, periodicals, and journals, keeping students well informed about current National and International events.

Located on the first floor, the library is spacious and well organized, with books neatly arranged in alphabetical order on bookstands and cabinets. A dedicated librarian’s desk is placed at the entrance, and rows of tables and chairs provide a comfortable reading space for students. Students visit the library as per a scheduled timetable and are required to carry their library cards. Each student is allowed to borrow one book at a time, with proper records maintained by the librarian. An audio-visual section with digital resources is planned to be introduced soon.
