Guidelines for Students

Dear Parents, The school feels pleasure wishing you all a very happy new session, with a hope that jointly we can nurture & groom our children to make them academically strong, socially responsible citizens, and medically fit & fine. Let’s design their future weaving their passion into the curriculum. Do not panic rather prepare the children to meet all the challenges.

    • Your child will be given a new student’s diary which contains columns for specimen signatures along with photographs. Please furnish three specimen signatures along with photographs. Any kind of correspondence with school must bear any of these specimen signatures, failing which we will not be able to entertain your representation. Please submit the diary with all the details along with the photographs of the students and the guardians within a week after receipt of the diary. Send application to the class teacher for any need.
    • Update your phone no. & address in the beginning of the session to make us handle emergency successfully. Once entered in software, it can’t be changed. Please submit the phone nos. which is responded. Parents are requested to inform the change of Address, telephone Number and the Email IDs to the class teachers immediately to avoid communication gap. (Do not give mobile to children).
    • Kindly inform about serious medical issues of your wards, if any, to the class teacher along with Medical papers in the beginning of the session. So that we can take special care.
    • Ensure that your child brings all the books and copies well covered with brown plastic coated cover and name sticker by the date conveyed.
    • We care for our students hence the School will organize regular medical camps on its premises on a regular basis for their proper health checkup. Permit us for the same.
    • We want our children to be physically and mentally fit for which the School will organize different events. We request you to encourage your ward to participate in these events.
    • To make our students befitting to the society and to face new challenges of life, the school will organize educational tours, visits to SEBI, News press, Dairies etc. we request you to encourage your ward to participate in these tours. Consent for Educational Projects.
    • School will organize special morning classes for std. VIII, X and XII throughout the session on zero period. Please see that your ward utilizes this opportunity to the fullest. Absenteeism in this shall be viewed seriously (Sports, Yoga, Karate, PT Zumba, Meditation etc….for junior students will be weekly feature).
    • Absence without sanctioned leave is viewed seriously so better send application in advance. In case of 3 consecutive days of absence / 2 months fee dues without any information, student’s name shall automatically get struck off. However, he / she may be admitted (subsequent to the Principal’s direction) after clearing the dues. Please follow the system sincerely. You may inform the teacher telephonically. (Only in outstation emergency). (No deviation from student’s diary.
    • We have Parent-Teacher Meet on every Saturday for board classes and the days specified in academic calendar (unless notified otherwise) for the other classes. If any parent is unable to attend P.T.Meet, he/she must inform the class teacher through application beforehand or the child may not be permitted to attend the class. Meet the Principal/Teachers as per visiting hours given on the Notice Board. Children must accompany their parents on PT meet dates. Both father and mother should attend the Parent-Teacher meetings organized by the school from time to time. You can meet teachers daily after the student’s departure after taking prior appointment.
    • It is an earnest desire of the school that the students Communication skill is good so encourage them to use English in all affairs of campus / teaching / learning. Also in this era of Multilingualism we emphasize on.
    • Please do not give non-veg (even eggs) & junk food to the students in tiffin. Better prefer to add a bit of sprout, salad and fruits in healthy corner of their tiffin. Late tiffin will not be accepted.
    • Reading English newspaper every day for better comprehension is compulsory. Kindly see that your ward (Std. VII to XII) is bringing English newspaper on the day prescribed by the teacher.
    • 75% Attendance is mandatory for appearing in the term / Annual Exam for promotion to the next higher class. Shortage of attendance % i.e. below 75% shall not permit the child to sit for the Exam. Attendance on 26th Jan & 15th Aug is mandatory.
    • Encourage your child to join/take part in CCA Activities. / Volunteer work / Social Service / School Clubs for holistic development.
    • In order to inculcate leadership quality, the students are assigned the duty of Monitors such as Monitors for Safety, Language, Health, Reading Clubs, and Wellness club Monitor etc. Encourage your children to come forward & join the clubs running in the school.
    • Researches show that most of the students get derailed due to use of modern gadgets. Costly materials like wrist/smart Watches, Mobiles, I Pod, Pen Drive, CDs etc. Electronic items like mobiles, calculators and cameras are strictly forbidden on the school campus.
    • Please read student’s diary properly. See the remarks/ advice/ suggestion given by the teacher in the student’s diary daily & follow the advice. See the diary for Promotion, Leave, Withdrawal, Admission rules.
    • H.W & Class Test schedule, Academic Calendar, CCA Calendar have been given on Display & in class. Advise your children to remain updated.
    • Fee dates for a particular month is only upto 15th of that month (Ref. Student Diary). However, Dates for Annual fee clearance before final exam for Std. X & XII is December (before Pre-Board), Std. VIII, IX & XI by January and LKG to VII February (as per date sheet).
    • Fee Norms:

        FINANCIAL GUIDELINES & FEE REGULATIONS

      1. Modes of Remittance: While the school accepts fee payments in cash, we strongly encourage the use of cashless transactions (Online transfers, Cheques, or Demand Drafts) to facilitate a more secure and efficient process.
      2. Operational Hours: The fee counter is at your service from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM all official working days.
      3. Examination Eligibility: To ensure a student’s participation in examinations, all outstanding dues must be settled prior to the commencement of the assessment. Entry to the examination hall is contingent upon the clearance of these dues.
      4. The Monthly Payment Window: Fees are ideally deposited between the 1st and 15th of each month without any late fine. Should the 15th fall on a public holiday, payments made on the subsequent working day will also be accepted without penalty.
      5. Late Fee Protocols:
        • Grace Period Extension: Payments made between the 16th and 30th of the month will attract a nominal late fine of ₹50/-.
        • Arrears: If monthly fees are carried forward to the following month, they must be cleared alongside the current month’s fee with a cumulative fine of ₹100/-.
      6. Holiday Observations: Please note that fee collections are suspended on Bank Holidays, School Holidays, and during any local 'Bandhs'.
      7. Enrollment Status & Re-admission: Consistency in payment is vital. Should dues remain unpaid for three consecutive months, the student’s name will be removed from the school rolls at the end of the fourth month. Re-admission may be sought once per academic session by clearing all arrears and paying a re-enrollment fee of ₹500/-, subject to the Principal’s approval.
      8. Flexible Payment Plans: For your convenience, the school welcomes advance payments on a quarterly, half-yearly, or annual basis.
      9. Specialized Academic Timelines:
        • Board Classes (X & XII): To facilitate the issuance of 'No-Dues Certificates,' all fees up to March must be settled by December.
        • Early Clearances: Fees for the month of June should be remitted in May, and March fees should be finalized in February.
      10. Transport & Withdrawal Policies: The school bus facility is a session-long commitment and can only be withdrawn after the current academic session concludes.
      11. Transfer Certificates (T.C.): A Transfer Certificate will be issued upon a formal written request from a parent or authorized guardian, provided all financial obligations are met. We require either one month’s advance notice or the payment of one month’s fee in lieu of the notice period.
      12. Important Legal Notice on Cheques: Please be advised that the dishonoring of a cheque is a legal offense. A penalty of ₹500/- will be imposed for any represented or "bounced" cheques.

    • Students must come to school in clean, well pressed dress/uniform, sober hair style and well-polished shoes. Low waist / narrow trousers (boys) and short skirts, tight suits (girls) must be avoided. All the students have to put on neat and clean uniform. The trendy haircut is highly undesirable. In case a student is not in proper school uniform / Apron /White Dress / Track Suit not neatly dressed or not on time to school, he/she will not be allowed. Parents will be held responsible for the student’s return to their homes. Girls are allowed to wear only small ear tops or studs. No other jewellery is permitted. Stringent action will be taken against defaulters of Mehendi/nail polish/hair color. All boys (except Sikhs) must keep their hair short. Girls must tie their hair neatly in two braided ponies.     • Use of Kadas(except Sikhs), wrist bands, Bracelets or any kind of visible religious things/ornaments are strictly prohibited in school premises.
    • For homework / assignment, parent / guardian must provide congenial atmosphere of study to their wards at home. They also must encourage them to complete their homework / C.W well within the stipulated time period. The new education system (NEP 2020) has provision of marks for all portfolio/notebook/life skills activities. NCrF – Credit for games, sports.
    • Absence from special Class, absence on reopening, during the week before the exam and absence preceding & succeeding long holidays/Vacation will make one liable to penalty. Especially Std. IX to XII.
    • School is NO MOBILE ZONE as per CBSE directives. Parents should keep their mobiles off / Silent mode before entering the campus.
    • Please don’t allow your child to bring Mobile phones/electronic gadgets in the school (except prior permission is taken from class teacher). They may be penalized for doing wrong.
    • Don’t permit your children to go out in the name of Group Projects unless it is assigned by the teacher through diary note/ message in group. Don’t give money in the name of school unless it is asked through diary note / message with teacher’s signature.
    • Two/Four wheeler riding without license will be taken as indiscipline if your child doesn’t have driving license. Parents are requested to kindly ensure that their wards do not drive any vehicle to the school as driving underage is illegal. Mishappenings with under age driver / biker are more. Parents should see to it that their wards do not come to school riding two wheeler / four wheeler, it is illegal.
    • Since it is a non-financed school means not getting financial aid from the govt. Thus, the only source of fund generation for school expenses is fee. We ensure quality education at par with metros but fee is much less than that. So cooperate and be a part of School family for the betterment of our children.
    • Post Exam/Summer/Winter camps will be organized in mid March/ May/ June/ Dec for soft skill development, & cognitive development in ICT & British English. Kindly encourage your wards to attend hobby classes, General English, Art & Craft, Games & Sports, Music, Culinary Art Classes, ICT and CS.
    • With reference to CBSE circular Feb, 2015, any act of indiscipline by the students would be viewed very seriously.
      As per CBSE guideline D.O. No. 12- 19/2012 RMSA -1 dtd. 09/03/2015 bullying (Direct bullying, indirect bullying & Cyber bullying) is strictly prohibited inside the school campus. It may lead to heavy fine or rustication of the Students, (Direct bullying - Physical intimidation or attacks, verbal abuse. unwanted attention and advances, damaging property. Indirect bullying – Spreading malicious rumours. Cyber bullying – Sending unpleasant SMS messages, photographs or emails to the victims or on social sites).
    • If any student is found involved in any indiscipline then serious step would be taken by School like Suspension or T.C. and parents have to follow the School decision.
    • Parents / Guardians are not allowed to take the child home during school hours unless it is very very urgent. In that case, parents have to come personally to take the child from the school or send the authorized guardian with proper authorization of parent’s card. Better do not send the child to send in such case.
    • Once the school gate is closed as per the school timing conveyed, late comers will not be permitted.Bring this practice in good habit.
    • No entry without I-Card once I-Card is distributed.
    • Bus facility cannot be withdrawn in mid-session.
    • Withdrawal Informations:- Refer Diary (a)If one fails twice in the same class or fee dues are in arrears. (b)One clear calendar months’ notice in writing or a month’s fee in lieu of notice must be given before the pupil is withdrawn. (c) Those who leave school in between sessions must in all cases pay the fee for the month last attended. Transfer Certificate will not be issued until all the dues of the school are settled. (d) Details to be given for T.C. Application: (i) Child’s Name, Class and Section, Admission no., Parents contact nos. (ii) Supporting documentation stating the reason for the transfer. (iii) The last day/date of the child attending the school. (e) Any additional certificate will be issued on request (On payment of process fee).
    • Students must treat the school property as their own.
    • Any kind of damage done to the school building, furniture, bus etc. must be made up by the parents.
    • No child is allowed to travel by the school bus without proper bus I-Card and approval of authority.
    • Due to breakdown or on account of shortage of accommodation in the school buses, a second trip may be arranged with information and the children will reach home late. Parents are requested to co-operate under such circumstances and bear with us. G.P.S. facility is provided in all bus for your convenience. Any suggestions are welcome. But through application to the Class Teacher
    • The bus route/timing may be changed during the session with prior intimation to the parents.
    • The accommodation of a child may be changed from one bus to another by the school even during the session. In case any bus change is requested by the Parents, the changed facility will be provided if there is seat in that bus and request must come in advance through the class teacher.
    • If the parents have any complaints against the bus services/staff, they are requested to report the same immediately to the class teacher and not to deal with the bus staff themselves.
    • Parents are not allowed to take off the children from the bus at places other than the respective bus stops. If this is done, it will be entirely on the risk of the parents and school authorities will not be responsible of safety facility if done without approval.
    • No parent is allowed to personally take any bus child home after school unless prior written intimation is given to the class teacher in the morning, and after Principal permission only they are allowed to take their wards.
    • In case the parents are not present at the bus stop in the afternoon, the child shall be brought back to school, the school authorities will not be held responsible. The parent will be required to collect the child from the school.
    • If any child is unruly or mischievous in the bus he/she shall be debarred from the bus facility.
    • In case of any kind of disturbance in the town or for any unavoidable reason, Parents of the children using school bus services may have to make their own arrangements of the children to be brought to and collect from the school.
    • If there is any type of disturbance in the town, please ring up the school and enquire whether it is open or closed to avoid inconvenience to the children.
    • If the parents have any complaint against the school staff/students, they are requested to report the same to the school and not to deal it themselves.
    • The children may be taken out for picnics, etc. to nearby places with information to the parents as per educational need.
    • Physical education is compulsory. Exemption will be allowed only on production of a Medical Certificate.
    • The school authorities have the right to dismiss any student at any time for the reasons harmful for the smooth running of the school like unsatisfactory progress, irregular attendance, indiscipline, reaching school late, habitual idleness, disobedience, use of bad language, injuries to the progress of the school etc. (All disputes are subject to Ranchi Jurisdiction only.
